This breaking news is for you, now, today.
Any sadness, anxiety, fear, impatience, jealousy, antiness, judgementalism, as well as any other negative attitude you may have about anything at anytime is contributing to the way you are feeling, just as laughter, joy, enjoyment, good food, good company and a good nights sleep contributes in the same way. Something inside of you may be aware of this and you may be thinking you cannot do anything about the way you are, how many times do we hear people say 'That's how I am' or 'I can't help it'. Well, little wonder people become ill. What you may not realise is that the negative feelings you may have, began within you at a time in the past when something happened and a change was triggered.
We have forgotten many true meanings of words we use on a regular basis. Taking a fresh look at words in our language will often present solutions for us, if we care to think. Re-member means to have a re-collection or put it all together again (to make it make sense) and we may well find solutions to many ' unnatural ' ways of being.
The word 'dis-ease' actually means 'not-natural', in other words 'not as was intended to be'.
This helpsite is primarily to support anyone diagnosed or affected by cancer, whether as a patient or their family, giving an opportunity to speak anonymously if desired, with others who have experienced the same. It has become clear to me over the last five years since my own diagnosis and by talking with many who have been affected, that much is being missed in the way of treatment, not only for cancers but many of the troubling bodily conditions many are experiencing these days. Everyone, it seems, knows someone affected with a cancer or other debilitating condition, moreso than ever before.
Would this be the case if cures are really being found.
Only about 15% of dis-ease is possibly caused by environmental intrusion into the body; the cause of the other 85% is within ourselves, triggered by the way we have learned to react to situations and events in our life, mostly from a cultural base but exacerbated by negative attitude. There is no doubt now that emotional impact can begin a process that over time will present physical symptoms, changing our body in some way; whether it be stresses and tensions that cause aches, pains and slow degenerative disorders, or suppressed immune systems that allow the onset of uncontrolled cell generation--cancer.
In the research I did for my book and for self understanding, I spoke with many men who have prostate cancer, as well as their families and what has become clear to me, and this was not until the after the book was published, is that a common experience for almost all of the men was that in younger life, generally between the ages of two to fifteen or seventeen, they had the perception of being 'put down' or not being emotionally supported by one or both parents. This feeling in all cases was very strong.
Following on from this and after much more research, a pattern is emerging. It appears that different types of emotional trauma actually bring about harmful physical changes in different areas of the body, what is more is that one type of trauma will affect a particular part of the body while another type of trauma will affect another part of the body. There is a heartening consistency to this. I say heartening because linking cause to effect means that with care, if you change the cause you have a more than good chance of changing the effect.
I am sure that for many this sounds rather confusing and to some it may sound beyond belief. Well what is even more astounding about this is that if we accept that these conditions arrive from within ourselves then the way to deal with them must be from the inside out rather than the outside in. 'Getting over' a disturbing event in life is not what happens, we repress or bury it and it remains like a coiled spring within us: eventually something has to give, and it does.A change in the pattern of our body.
When your Specialist says there is nothing more than can be done, he is really saying there is nothing more that he can do. There is a way forward. The breaking news here is that there is a method that unwinds the internal coiled spring. Want to know more?
